I know have spoken with you personally but this message came through from the Team China group tonight at 6:30pm (Aussie time) that the flight between Beijing and Shanghai has been cancelled due to weather. The airline is putting the Team up in a hotel in Beijing and they are flying to Shanghai tomorrow at 11:30am. All is fine.
Just to reiterate – the kids are having a wonderful time.
Thanks – Kim
All has been great. Kids have been wonderful. Super busy though. On the go the whole time. Been to the Great Wall of China and have the photos to prove it. Looking forward to Shanghai.
Having a little mini session with Ms Creighton to make sure I can send home our highlights as we travel.
It is only 6 days until our kfps travellers head off! Ava, Will, Tamika, and Maddy along with Mrs Gloury are very much looking forward their trip.
Stay tuned to their travel updates.
This place of tranquility is in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the markets and Shanghai streetscape. Trees and gardens are over 100 years old and with waterfalls and rock features lining the pathways you could really relax here – if it wasn’t so hot😃 can’t complain – we have heard how chilly it is in back home!
I love China but its to busy and hot. It’s amazing here. we are leaving to go to Suzhou In a couple of minutes and I think it’s suppose to be wet and cold. I’m excited to see Linda and her family I think it would be really fun. The drive to Suzhou will be about 2 hours ( how boring )👎👎 this is a great opportunity for all the people that got on this trip and I hope they have been enjoying his fabulous trip so far.👍👍👍👍👍 yesterday Oakley and I were walking next to jake because we thought we were going to see he one hand man but when we were next to the hotel we saw a one legged man. the one legged man was laying on a skateboard rolling down the streets.
Love my family from Chelsea 🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼
I like the Yu yuan gardens because it had a lot of gardens and it was neat and clean.Same of the gardens are like a 100years old there a lot of fish in the water and turtles. The buildings were like centuries old they were very neat and well design. A lot of the Chinese people want photos with us. After we finish we got lunch and it was awesome. Then we went shopping and I spent most of my money.
Well ummm let’s see we have done a poop load! On day 1 we were on the plane for 11 hours and it was soooo boring. I share a room with a girl from Huntley primary school and her name is Reese. Day 2 , we went to the one and only Pearl tower.Chelsea and I went on a roller coaster at the Pearl Tower and it was indoor. It was awesome.
Love you Mum, Dad ,Draven And Braxley !!!!!!!🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Today I had an exciting time being my first day bartering. I had reasonable success buying some cool items. I learnt in bartering to start much lower than you’re happy to pay then slowly work your way up to the price your happy to pay. I also learnt that when they’re not budging with the price just walk away and they will probably chase you so they can sell the item. The second thing we did today was going down to the Bund ( one of the many Shanghai rivers ). Everyone had an ice cream after we had been to the Bund.
Today was awesome!
